Hiking Trails
Of the 706 acres at Hidden Falls, over 600 are wooded. Spread throughout our woods are over 7 miles of hiking trails.

Along our trails you will encounter creekbeds, waterfalls, Tent Sites, ravines, cliffs, scenic overlooks, Guthrie Creek, the Hidden Falls Challenge Course, many different types of trees, and a wide variety of animal life.
The Red trail system, located along the western side of our property, includes almost three miles of interconnected trails, including the Prayer Walk, our 175′ suspension bridge, two decks overlooking waterfalls, the Hidden Falls Challenge Course, our Creation Center, and two Tent Sites.

The Red trail itself is a moderate 1.25 mile trail highlighting a quiet creekbed and a flat, wooded area. Branching out from the Red trail near the creekbed are two spur trails: The Red-Yellow spur (moderate 0.5 miles) follows the creekbed a bit, then climbs up a hill and wanders past an open field before rejoining the Red trail at the Challenge Course. The Red-Blue spur (moderate 0.6 miles) heads in the other direcdtion, through a dense cedar grove, and meets the Red trail just in time to return to camp.
The Orange trail system, located along the eastern side of our property, contains another three miles of trails exploring the many tributary streams and falls feeding Guthrie Creek. Following a circular route, the Orange trails are somewhat more difficult because they involve more significant up and downhill segments.
The Orange trail itself is a moderate-to-difficult 2.5 mile trail. Marching down an old gravel road downhill for about a quarter of a mile, the trail approaches Guthrie Creek. After moving parallel to the creek for a bit, it then veers uphill, reaching a plateau along the eastern border of camp. From there it heads down to a tributary creekbed before finally climbing back uphill. Three spurs along the way create shortcuts across the main trail, cutting from Guthrie Creek to the plateau. Two more Tent Sites are located along the Orange trail system, making excellent spots for small group interaction or even picnics.
The Red and Orange trail systems are connected by the moderate, 1.0 mile Green Trail. Following the curve of the land along the edge of a valley, the Green trail is relatively flat, until turning uphill to meet the Red trail.
Our Hiking Trails are available year-round to registered guests of Hidden Falls.
