Challenge Course

Are you up for a challenge? The Hidden Falls Challenge Course offers many flexible packages that can help your group develop teamwork, communication, trust, respect, cooperation, leadership, and confidence.

Our course consists of five different types of activities:

Ground School
In Ground School, participants are taught the basic skills for the challenge course: communication, spotting, and trust. Ground school is required for all participants, even those with prior experience.

Group Initiatives
These “close-to-the-ground” activities require your group to work together to achieve a common goal. Although they appear less exciting than the “up-high” activities, these are often the best way to both build group cohesion and help your participants identify their comfort zone.

We offer many Group Initiatives, including the Spider’s Web, the Nitro Crossing, the Mohawk Walk, the Electric Fence, the T.P. Shuffle, the Swinging Balance Beam, the Whale Watch, the Up and Over Beam, the Poisonous Peanut Butter Pit, and the Wild Woosie.

Climbing Walls
The Climbing Walls require courage, upper and lower body strength, and perseverance, while providing a strong feeling of success to those who achieve their goal. These are mostly individual, belayed activities; groups participate as encouragers and spotters, assisting the climber.

At Hidden Falls, we have four routes of increasing difficulty on our Climbing Walls. The first two start out on a sloped wall, move into a vertical wall, stopping at a platform 28 feet off the ground. The second two start out vertical, and incorporate an overhanging wall before reaching the top, at 35 feet.

Our tower has a third platform, 45 feet above ground level, from which participatnts can rappel.

The “High Course”
Participants who have made it to the top of any of our Climbing Walls may move on to our High Course. Suspended from safety cables, participants make their way across tight-wires, rope bridges, balancing beams, and vine-walks.

The “Rides”
If your group would like to experience that sudden rush of adrenaline known only when you’re flying through the air, then consider on of our Rides. We offer the Flying Squirrel, a Giant Swing, and a Zip Line.

Hidden Falls will provide trained facilitators who will help your group throughout your experience on our course.
